What do I do now?
We know how you feel! This page has been compiled by mothers and fathers that have been in your place. Navigation through these waters is tough and lonely. We do not want you to feel alone.
There are no hard, cold rules on how to help your child, your family and you. Each family is different and each child is different. It is important that you proceed with your own family in mind but keep in mind what others are saying to you. Like a lot of us, you may be in denial right now and can not understand how any of this relates to you. Denial is a wonderful place to be, but it will not help your child.

I want to start out by saying I’m very sorry for your loss.I am a very concerned mother. My son is 23 now,he’s been doing drugs since he was 18 (that I know of) He’s to the point where he shoots up or does it some other way EVERYDAY.He says he don’t but I know.He has been in 2 different rehabs & jail nothing seems to matter or help him.He has stoled EVERYTHING from us (his parents) and sold it,pawned it,traded it all for drugs.I’m VERY scared not just for him, but all of us.Him and his girlfriend has a 6 month old baby.He needs his”Daddy” His dad has Chron’s Diease which will eventually kill him. He’s not suppose to be stressed that makes his Chron’s worse and flare up.He is unable to work so I’m the only one working.I don’t know what else to do or who to turn to.No one will help him cause he has no insurance. I’m a C.N.A. at Parkwest Hospital here in Knox. and a patient told me about this web site. I know your paper said ages 12-20 but I have NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN.Can you help me or tell me where to turn to? Thanks for listening & God Bless You for what your doing & I’ll be praying for you family.
